We don’t have a magic wand, nor do We wear a Super Hero capes, flying in to save the day. But, if you are struggling with any of the following we may just be able to help you make sense of it.
Although we are qualified and skilled to work with a range of presenting issues, our specialist areas are baby loss & Children & Young people’s mental health. These are both areas which as a business we are extremely passionate about.
Having experienced first-hand the devastation of baby loss and subsequent rainbow pregnancies I fully understand just how hard it is to find the strength to carry on. All of your hopes and your future plans cruelly taken from you.
It’s a very different type of bereavement as you have very few memories, only what ifs, and days of wonder.
I get it, I understand….because I felt like that too.
The mental health and well-being of children and young people, along with the impact this has on their families and it is our mission to provide a voice for those that may go unheard.
So what difference has counselling been able to make to the lives of some of our clients? Here are some of the kind words they share with us at the end of our journey...
"Thank you for making my confidence better and for making me realise I do belong here. You feel like family to me and I'll forever be grateful for you. You're so beautiful and a great mother. You're a shining star."
"Hiya, it's been a while but just wanted to give you a little update. I got my GCSE results the other week and got a 5 in Maths! Sitting those exams would not have been possible if you hadn't helped me when you did."
"Thank you for being the bestest person ever, you make all my worries go away and it's so funny when you're so rubbish at all the games! I'm the champion! Love you lots like Jelly Tots!"
"Rachel, thank you will never be enough for what you've done. Not only for our daughter but for us as a family. We have her back and it's the best feeling in the world, thank you from the bottom of our hearts."
"Thank you so much for everything you've done for me. You've always fought my corner and believed in me even when I didn't. I really don't know where I'd be without you."
"I have just realised that two years ago I took my first overdose and just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for helping me out of that place. I am doing so much better and now in work and college, and I know for a fact that would not have been possible without the amazing things you did for me."
