Our office at the Retford Enterprise Centre is a unique space where together we explore how to best support people of all ages and requirements.
For our young people, therapeutic play forms a huge part of what we do, using creativity as a platform for unlocking and exploring anxieties and concerns.
For our adult clients, the office also offers a calming, relaxing and non-clinical environment where we can share open and honest discussions in an informal setting.

My company is all about inspiring change and giving children and young people a voice. I have my own private practice at the Retford Enterprise and also provide support to children and young people impacted by domestic abuse on behalf of Women’s Aid Nottinghamshire. I’m really excited about the opportunity of joining Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw. As a trustee I hope to bring energy and new ideas as well as dedication to helping to ensure that young people are provided with opportunities to adopt a positive mind set, develop skills, get involved and raise their aspirations.
I am Michele mum to two fabulous children and a crazy cockapoo Pablo.!
My lifelong passion for teaching and learning has enabled me to work with some amazing children, young adults, and their families in many different settings.
As a teacher and children's mental health mentor in schools, I have always prioritised the importance of emotional well-being for both the children in my care and the adults working alongside me.
I believe that good mental health helps children and young adults to develop the resilience to cope with whatever life throws at them enabling them to grow into well rounded healthy adults.
I am so very excited to be continuing my learning journey, by joining Rachel and her team at Absoluteness, working to inspire change and making a difference.
Nothing makes us prouder than helping people to make positive change in their lives but when we receive recognition for the work we do this gives both the business and our clients that what we do really makes a difference to people's lives.
There is nothing more fulfilling than supporting the journey of our individual clients, however we are also very privileged to work with other outstanding local and national organisations and charities.
